About White Water Web Design...
Whitewater Web Design is run by Dave Hammond. He lives with his beautiful wife, Talia in the small hamlet of BZ Corner, Washington, just 15 minutes from Hood River, Oregon.
When Dave isn’t hacking away at the keyboard, he’s helping run Cork & Bottle, their catering company. Dave and Talia try to take advantage of the beautiful rivers and trails around them on a daily basis. He is also training for the United States Down River Kayak Team and developing innovative kayak designs.
A Brief History
Dave built his first computer in his parents’ basement at the age of 10. His nerdling tendencies only grew from there. He held a job as a computer engineer while still in high school. After college, he got away from computers and traveled the world as a whitewater raft guide. He also competed on the international level for 2 years on the US downriver kayaking team. Looking to lead a more settled life, Dave and Talia moved to the ultimate outdoor playground, the Columbia River Gorge, and started their own businesses.
